Empowerment Through Ice Hockey

At First Nations Hockey, we aspire to connect First Nations tribes from the U.S. and Canada through hockey, to spread awareness of our cultures, and to offer Indigenous women of all ages a space to come together as one sisterhood. We are committed to providing a supportive environment for women in ice hockey.  Experience the thrill of teamwork, skill development, and personal growth.

About First Nations Hockey

First Nations Hockey is dedicated to creating a vibrant community for women athletes.
We promote inclusion, diversity, and empowerment through ice hockey.

More than a hockey team, they represent a vision: to unite First Nations tribes through sport, cultural pride, and sisterhood. This team is about more than winning games. It’s about bringing recognition to First Nations through something we all love — hockey,

We chose players who carry the heart of their communities. Women were selected not solely on talent, but on their commitment to represent their nations with pride.

Led by Team Captain Tonya Williams (Ojibway) and coached by Katie Harrington and Elaine
Luzano, the team is preparing for an unforgettable debut.
