Boozhoo,

Hello,
My name is Running Deer. I am from Antler River (Chippewas of the Thames First Nation).
I am eagle clan. I am an Anishinaabe woman.
My given name is Andria Dyer and I have been sharing my gift to create for 20 years. That’s where my small business name comes from “Running Deer Creations”.
Over the years I have always created on the side while working full time and being a mother of 2 beautiful children. With my children now grown I have decided to make my business my priority.
From ribbons skirts to regalias and everything in between, Your vision is my Creation.
I create from the heart and love what I do. Everything as unique as we all are.
It is a huge honour to create ribbon skirts for these young women. Their team colours make up the base material and ribbons but each one unique, created to fit them perfectly.
When we wear our skirts we wear them with pride, as the Indigenous people we are. Representing strength, resilience and beauty. In our skirts Creator recognizes us as women and the gifts that we carry. There are many teachings from nation to nation but one similarity is how a woman feels in her skirt.
I hope these skirts allow them to feel that good energy, reminding them how beautiful and sacred they are.
Miigwech/Thank you
